Bram Frank is S2 Institute’s instructor for advanced edged weapons and special certification courses for the Gunting and CRMIPT control tool. Grandmaster Bram Frank has been teaching in the field of edged weapons and martial arts for over 50 years.
Mr. Frank is known worldwide for his contributions in improving edged weapon tactics and his design of tactical folding knives and less-lethal control tools. Mr. Frank spends a lot of time on the road and has trained United States, Russian, and Israeli law enforcement and civilians in the use of edged weapons and control tactics/tools.

Grandmaster Bram Frank has been teaching in the field of edged weapons and martial arts for 50 years. Bram has been inducted into several Martial Arts Halls of Fame. Mr. Frank’s dedication and service has also won him numerous awards as a martial arts instructor. For his design of the Spyderco Gunting, the World Head of the Soke Councilship has called it the “Most Innovative Weapon of the Millennium.”
