Jay Pace is S2 Institute’s primary instructor for officer safety and secondary weapons programs. He is a retired police Sergeant with over twenty-five years of law enforcement experience, including SWAT Team and Sniper Team training coordinator, defensive tactics and less-lethal weapons program coordinator, and lead instructor for chemical munitions and riot control.
Mr. Pace has received certifications as an instructor from numerous organizations including FDLE, FL Dept. of Education, Commission on Criminal Justice Standards and Training, NRA, FL Dept. of State, TAC, MSI, Federal Laboratories, Monadnock, and more.

Some of Mr. Pace’s previous positions include SWAT Team and Sniper Team training coordinator, defensive tactics and less-lethal weapons program coordinator, and lead instructor for chemical munitions and riot control. Mr. Pace’s tactical training began as a US Army Recon Scout in Vietnam.
