Vincent McNally is S2 Institute’s instructor for hostage negotiations, maritime security, and traumatic stress management courses. His career spans 31 years of service with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, including positions as a hostage/crisis negotiator, police instructor, EAP and CISD program manager, and Unit Chief at the FBI Headquarters in Washington.
Mr. McNally is the President of Trauma Reduction Inc. and holds certifications as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, Registered Traumatologist, Compassion Fatigue Specialist, and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress.
Vincent McNally, the President of Trauma Reduction Inc, is an S2 Institute adjunct instructor for hostage negotiations, maritime security, and traumatic stress management courses. Mr. McNally’s career spans 31 years of service with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, including positions as a hostage/crisis negotiator, police instructor, EAP and CISD program manager, and Unit Chief at the FBI Headquarters in Washington. In the private sector, Mr. McNally has developed and presented specialized courses on maritime security for Holland America Cruise Lines and taught hostage negotiations to the Iraqi Police under contract for the U.S. Department of Justice. As a career specialist in traumatic stress management, Mr. McNally has also aided numerous police organizations in developing Employee Assistance Programs to aid in managing the effects of fatigue and critical incident stress.
Mr. McNally’s academic background includes a BA in Sociology from Wheeling Jesuit University and Master of Professional Studies in Criminal Justice from C.W. Post University. Mr. McNally is also a graduate of the FBI Academy and the FBI Executive Development Institute. Mr. McNally holds certifications as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, Registered Traumatologist, Compassion Fatigue Specialist, and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress. Mr. McNally is also a member of the Board of Scientific and Professional Advisors and Designated Fellow for the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.
